The 21st century widely known as the “Digital Age”is not merely an era of technological acceleration. It is a historic turning point where new actors are rising in global power dynamics. Today’s generation has demonstrated the ability to transcend borders through intellect, courage, digital influence, and strategic international networking. Among these emerging figures, one Nepali name stands out prominently: Rizwan Aalam, a youth entrepreneur, diplomatic networker, and geopolitical connector whose influence across the Arab world and India is becoming increasingly noteworthy.
Nepali Youth at the Heart of Arab Geopolitics
The Middle East/Arab region sits at the center of global political equations, serving as a hub of energy security, strategic mobility routes, and fast-evolving economic transformations. As Gulf nations transition from oil diplomacy to economic diversification diplomacy, the Arab Parliament a collective political-diplomatic institution of the Arab world has emerged as a powerful decision-making arena. In this context, the presence of a Nepali youth gaining direct access to such an influential institution is historic. Remarkably, Rizwan Aalam enjoys official government-level protocol privileges through the Arab Parliament, enabling him to travel freely across multiple countries with diplomatic facilitation. This rare achievement has brought Nepal onto the geopolitical radar of the Arab world in matters of diplomacy, trade, security, and international investment.
Connecting Three Geopolitical Spheres
Today, three geopolitical blocs are converging rapidly:
- South Asia (SAARC Region)
- Arab Region (GCC, MENA)
- India–Middle East Strategic Corridors
Rizwan Aalam has emerged as a key bridge among these three spheres. His strategic “South Asia + Arab + India” network is playing a growing role in facilitating FDI, supporting trilateral cooperation, and strengthening relationships with global institutions. For these reasons, he is increasingly recognized as Nepal’s Emerging Geo-Political Connector.
From Sunsari to Global Power Centers

Born in Sunsari, Nepal, Rizwan Aalam represents the new generation of Nepali global achievers. With limited opportunities but strong determination, he built a powerful career across the UAE and the broader Arab region. His accomplishments include:
- Establishing multiple companies employing more than 1,000 Nepali and international workers.
- Developing direct ties with ministers, royal families, and high-level decision-makers across the UAE and Arab world.
- Building strong connections with India’s central ministers and Chief Ministers, receiving VVIP protocol during his official engagements.
- Acting as a trilateral facilitator for India–Nepal–Arab commercial and diplomatic cooperation.
In July 2025, he successfully concluded a major FDI agreement for a hydropower project in Nepal, contributing to Nepal’s long-term energy development.
A Historic Partnership with the President of the Arab Parliament

One of his most notable achievements is establishing a direct business partnership with the President of the Arab Parliament—a milestone rarely achieved by any Nepali citizen. This development symbolizes a shift in Nepal’s global representation, demonstrating that Nepali youth are now entering influential international leadership spaces far beyond traditional labor roles.
Diplomatic Milestones: Facilitating High-Level Visits
Rizwan Aalam has also made vital contributions to diplomatic and cultural promotion:
- In June 2022, he facilitated the Nepal visit of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Maktoum Juma Al Maktoum from Dubai.
- In 2023, he played a key role in engagements involving His Excellency Mohamed Ahmed Al Yamahi, the President of the Arab Parliament.
- He helped coordinate the recent visit of a UAE Prince to Nepal, during which the Prince was presented with a traditional gold-tipped Nepali khari (ceremonial staff)—a gesture that deepened cultural ties.
His efforts have created new channels of cooperation between Nepal and Arab leadership circles in business, investment, and diplomacy.
A Diplomatic Talent of the Digital Generation
At a time when Nepal faces political and economic uncertainty, the nation needs individuals with global exposure, strategic networks, and a deep sense of national commitment. Figures like Rizwan Aalam act as Geo-Political Strength Multipliers, expanding Nepal’s visibility and influence on international platforms. Geopolitical influence today is no longer limited to nation-states alone; visionary individuals with global relationships can change narratives, open doors, and build new alliances. In this new era, Rizwan Aalam stands as a promising diplomatic-commercial leader of Nepal’s young generation—symbolizing the global potential, courage, and rising strength of Nepali youth.
